I live in rural, western Nebraska, 100 miles from a town big enough to support a WalMart and 30 miles from a town with a gas station. Add to that the fact that my husband is a cowboy and we tend to move around a bit, I needed to open a different kind of quilt shop.
My community is entirely too small to support a traditional brick-and-mortar shop. And what if we have to pick up stakes next year to move on to the next ranch?
So, here I am online.
Like a lot of fellow quilters I'm a self-professed FabriHolic. I love to collect the stuff. Okay, now and again I actually make quilts and other projects with it, but mostly I like to just sit in my sewing corner and admire my stash, thinking about what I could do with it.
Consequently, if you happen to make a project that includes fabric you get from me, I'd love to see it!
Due to the fact that I am only online, my overhead is considerably smaller than if I were a traditonal shop. What that means to you is that I can carry the exact same quality of fabrics that I would with a brick-and-mortar store, and sell for less.
My store is still small. But the advantage for you, my customer, is that I am a FabriHolic. I will never stop collecting the stuff (and listing it so you can, too!)
